No. Voltage and amperage matters. The Switch takes more power than standard usb C power output specs. This is especially true if it is docked(where it will take more power). I tried running my switch off a USB C adapter connected to an external battery, and the power was enough to trickle charge the Switch over a day, but it wasn't powerful enough to charge the switch while gaming.

for charging purposes, it should work. you want to be careful with third party docks. Nintendo uses a different power profile when outputting to 1080p to the TV. Using a third party dock can brick your switch!

The official charger provides more total watts of power than chargers rated for phones, typically. This should provide the best charge for the Switch, and ensure there is enough power for the attached Joy-cons and anything plugged into the dock.

It is recommended that you use the original charger but Yes any USB-C cable works.
