Please try again later.Looking at the specs and photos - I've not yet looked at the machine itself because it is a Christmas gift for my girlfriend so I've not opened it - it appears not to have an Ethernet port. However, you can if you wish buy an adapter cable to allow you to attach an Ethernet cable to it via the usb port. I'd suggest if you want to go that route you first talk to someone at Best Buy to get advice to make sure that would be possible. Btw, I see a lot of newer laptops that do not have an Ethernet port, this seems to be a common design now (not to have Ethernet port).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As "MattC" and "Adapter" say, you can get an adapter that would do the trick. And yes, manufacturers are phasing out Ethernet ports. This saves them a few dollars (making the computer artificially cheaper), weight and thickness. The exception is computers geared more toward the business user or gamer. You ONLY need a docking station, contrary to what "Anonymous" states, if you want a quick way to connect and disconnect while also allowing for more connections.

You can find an Anker 6 in 1 usbc hub ($29.99) that (has gigabit ethernet, 1x usb-c port, 2x usb-a ports, an HDMI port, and a port for your USB-C laptop charger(so you don't have to connect your power charger separately) Or just a gigabit ethernet usb-c adapter for $12 or 100mbps one for $6 on amaz
