The wifi card supports: 5GHz 802.11ac, or 2.4/5GHz 802.11n so it is dual band. The wifi card however is not upgradeable. You need to make sure your router supports dual band as well. Please try again later.It is dual band ac compatible with lower b/g/n The only thing that dual band helps with is less interference so more band width is available making it seem faster when accessing the internet. If you have a bunch of 2.4 ghz devices in your home they all share the band width so adding 5ghz band opens an extra band of communication that is not shared.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's AC dual band, latest technology. It does work very well. No need to upgrade unless you want an aftermarket card in it- totally unnecessary. Dual band carries more info, less interference.
