• No, this laptop does not support charging the laptop itself via USB-C. It is recommended to use the included AC adapter/power cord.

• In fact, the included AC adapter/power cord is meant to plug into the USB C. That does make it hard to use anything else plugged in to that port.

• Yes you can - I have this laptop. It's a Thunderbolt 4 port.

• Yes you can. I just bought the laptop, and one of the reasons why is because it supports USB C charging
