- Answer I don't think so, Acer official specifications only list "HDCP" compliant and not a version number. This almost always means it supports a lower standard.

QuestionThis is 4k compatable with xbox one x, but is it HDMI or Display port only? Also is HDMI Free sync? I believe when I use display port it says no cable detected. If there is anything else to get the most enhanced picture please let me know.

- Answer This monitor can be used with display port or hdmi. It is multicompatible. I use this with my asus rog (gtx 1060) and use the display port and looks amazing. I have a PS4 pro, not an Xbox one X, so I’m not sure about that stuff. But, I will tell you it looks amazing with my PS4 pro.

- Answer IPS Is looks more beautiful and clear when u telt or look at ips panel from other sides but in TN Panel when u telt of look from another angles it will look like black and white and will lose picture quality but watching it from front it doesn't make so much difference in bot, the comparison is just about looking it from other sites and they look different

QuestionHow do I enable Freesync? Also the monitor claims to be 10-bit or 1.07 billion colours, yet I can't enable 10 bit colour depth with a gtx 1070 through displayport 1.2. Do I need a better displayport? Or is this just false marketing?

- Answer This monitor supports 10-bit color via 8-bit + FRC. The 10-bit setting does not need to be enabled. FreeSync can only be enabled by AMD cards.

- Answer On monitors that have speakers you need to connect the audio input socket(AUDIO IN) of the LCD monitor and the line-out port on the computer with the audio cable. QuestionDoes this monitor have an audio out jack? I have an Xbox One S which doesn't have an audio out jack, and this monitor has no speakers. For some reason, they almost never show the ports in the pictures, or list them out in the specifications.

- Answer The back of the panel of the ACER LCD Monitor CB281HK has only an Audio In Port that can be connected to your computer or other components. Apparently, Audio In and Audio Out port are 'Optional' on different monitors but it is not clear which ones in the owner's manual. The Monitor has speakers and I tested it with playing a You Tube video of Muse's 'Madness' and the stereo was okay. I did not try to adjust volume or other settings, but it sounded just a little 'tinny' and soft to my ears. I use this monitor for a graphics application, so sound quality/reproduction is not a priority. I am very pleased with the image quality of the monitor.
