- Answer No, Chromebooks do not include a built in optical drive. You can however connect a USB drive for read-only purposes.

- Answer Chromebooks run off apps like an Android phone or tablet. If the software/game you want to use is available as an app from Google Play or Chrome Web store, they should work. - Answer I would rate it an 8 ! It is responsive and data is retrieved fairly quickly . I would love it if it had touch screen , but for the money , it’s hard to beat !

- Answer There is an experimental feature that lets you install Steam if you enable Linux. The experience isn't as smooth as gaming gaming on Windows, but it is possible to install games on this laptop. That said, this Chromebook is meant for cloud gaming.

- Answer If you have an editing app you should be able to edit photos. Please keep in mind this Chromebook does not have a card reader if your camera has an SD card, so you would need a USB card reader adapter.

- Answer All Acer laptops sold in North America ship with an AC adapter that supports 100v-240v. The only thing you would need is an adapter for the plug end of the US power cord to fit the outlets outside North America.

- Answer Yes, almost any Linux app can be run on this Chromebook. There is a custom version of Steam available that will run about of 1/2 of the games available. If it will run on the Steam deck it will run on the 516 GE.

- Answer Minecraft Android is available. It runs $14 on the Google Play Store. Several other Minecraft games are available through Steam. Steam is an excellent resource. I runs about a dozen games, including Baldur's Gate 3, using a combination of Steam and the Nvidia GeForce streaming service.
