This Chromebook runs the same operating system as all other Chromebooks, ChromeOS. It will continue to receive software updates for quite a long time, potentially up to 10 years.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Chromebooks run the Chrome operating system. The Chromebook devices do have an end of life date, as this applies to all Chromebooks regardless of manufacturer. While they are designed to have automatic updates, as Google explains: "end-to-end updates for all our devices to ensure the highest levels of security requires dependencies on many third-party hardware and software providers so we cannot indefinitely ensure that older Chrome devices will receive updates to enable new OS and browser features." Unfortunately since your Chromebook is an older model that updates that expired in 2022, likely you may need a new Chromebook to continue using with your banking software, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can go into settings on any CB, click on About, then additional details. Then you will see the exact support date for the chromebook. They should just specify this in the specs. But because they often sell older models with limited support dates they don't... Sometimes just a couple years out. For example, my current CB is supported till June 2029.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you've probably figured this out by now! You can use the Chase app on you smart phone until you can buy a new Chromebook...with Chrome Operating System! I had the same problem but the phone worked fine for a few months until I bought this Acer Chromebook...LOVE IT BTW
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It comes with the latest version of chrome os so chase app should perfectly work. It says it will be updated about 9 or 10 more years. Meaning it should work perfectly for your chase app for a while :)
