On mine, it's just a backlit keyboard and it's not very bright at all. I'm not even a fan of RGB lighting but I really wish you could adjust the brightness more than you can, It's very weak and I almost thought I just got one with a bad keyboard, but after doing some checking online, it just seems like with this particular model the keyboard lighting just isn't good. Been checking around to find a replacement because the laptop itself is pretty good for a budget gaming laptop. The fans are very loud. That's the worst part of it as far as I'm concerned. Of course, that's adding ram and a better SSD. I have 2 4tb SSD's in mine that are the best on the market(again in my opinion). It runs great and everything I've thrown at it so far. Thinking about going to 64g of ram. I checked through a command prompt to check max ram capacity and it does handle 64g of ram.
