It really depends on the game that supports cross-platform play. For example, Fortnite allows cross-platform among Xbox, PS(4), Nintendo Switch, and computer users (Except for Xbox and PS4 or Nintendo Switch and PS4 users playing together). It should be fairly easy to set it up on your own.
