Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My roommate has a CAC reader and has used mine for accessing his military accounts. So it has worked with mine and I never did anything special to allow him to use it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does not have a CAC reader and only has one standard USB port. That port is on the keyboard and will not work with the keyboard detached. I have not tried a CAC reader with an adapter in the micro USB port on the tablet itself. The Dell Lattitue E7470 (picked it up new in a pawn shop for $299) has a reader built in. I own both computers and enjoy them.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First let me say that I'm not in the military and I have never messed with a CAC card. With that said this computer uses a Full Windows operating system and has a USB port. It would be my educated guess to say that it should work fine as with any other accessory designed to work with windows.
