This device is a connection oriented piece of technology. It's not wireless. You may want to look into homeplug products that send an information signal over your already in place power lines.

If you want cable in your garage, you’d have to run a coax from the house to the garage, but this would only give you internet and not TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You might be a bit confused about the purpose of this device. It sends an ethernet signal through existing coax cable. This is useful for homes or other areas where coax cable is already in place, such as houses that have been wired for cable TV to be run all over the house. If coax cable is already installed, you can use this device instead of running new ethernet cable through your walls etc. But if you don't already have coax cable in place, this device is useless to you. You'd be better off running ethernet cable since it is much more flexible and easier to work with. Good luck. Ok then.
