Depends on what you mean by "turn off". If you mean "unplug from electricity", the Ethernet ports won't work, because the modem is off. It needs power to run. If by "turn off" you mean "there are no LEDs on the Modem when I turn it off", yeah, it's dead. There are some models that can be powered by the Ethernet cords themselves, but that requires Power over Ethernet support, and the devices connected to the modem to be giving Power over Ethernet... you likely don't have that in your home. If you mean "turn off the Wireless broadcast from the menu," Wireless and Ethernet work independently. Ethernet will work even if Wireless is turned off, generally there is no way to disable ethernet ports on most household-grade modems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you unplug the router or otherwise cut power, then no, the ports wont work either.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are turning off the wireless network broadcasting then yes the ethernet ports are still active as long. But if you are powering down the modem completely, then they go off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, Wireless is just a function to extend the internet to non-hard connected devices. If you were to disable the wireless feature the stuff you connect to the back will still work. As long as the device is turned on and functioning.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can turn off Wifi and the ethernet ports will continue to work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No the router must be turned on for the Ethernet ports to work
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ether net port still work when the access point is off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Typically they are always on until whole unit is turned off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don't think so. If you power off the unit, the built-in switch is powered off as well. To reduce your exposure, you should configure the WiFi to use WPA2 and a very strong password. Rather than turning the unit off, you could access the modem's setup page and turn off the SSID broadcasting. Some wireless routers even let you set a schedule for when the WiFi is turned on. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The device does not function when it is powered down.
