If u use Geek Squad service for mounting, they will help u select the right equipment as well. Price is very reasonable and they do a great job ! I had mine mounted and looks perfect. They know what they are doing.

Q: QuestionI bought the Legrand - In-Wall TV Power Kit. Geek Squad is coming to mount my TV this Sunday Jan 17. My questions is, will they be able to add the extension as shown on the attached photo.

Q: QuestionPlease explain the purpose of this product. I was told to order one of these and the Legrand - In-Wall Power Kit - White. They seem to perform similar functions but there is no detail or photo of the Add On: In Wall Power Extension.

• A:Answer I had this done at the suggestion of the Installer and it's a wonderful idea. What it does is enable you to put the cables and connections for devices "in the wall" and behind the sheet rock to run down INSIDE THE WALL to an area near the bottom of the wall where the cables come out to be connected to other devices you are hooking up to your TV (i.e. Game Boxes, DVD's, etc.) It completely HIDES all the wires and cables and helps our living room look tidy and neat.

• A:Answer Well, I paid for the unit...and a lump some for the installation of it, and a series of other components. I am not technically educated by any sort of modern standard, and relied on the geek squad to assemble a coherent entertainment center incorporating a television, sound system, disc player and turntable without the jumble of wires my wife hates. The end result has so far been very nice. They returned, without charge, to address a minor issue incorporating the smart TV audio, and were nice about it.

Q: QuestionWe just purchased 3 new TV's from Best Buy and the Geek Squad will be installing and mounting them on the wall. If you have cable service and a cable box for each TV, can they be hidden along with the wires that are associated with the boxes?

• A:Answer Just my 2 cents.... The Geek Squad can add a conduit. It is not the prettiest thing, but it's better than seeing 2-4 wires hanging. OR if you have cable, they may be able to pull the wires through to an outlet. Unfortunately, I could not do that. So, the conduit is fine.

Q: QuestionI live in California. I purchased a 75" television to be mounted above the fire place, I also wanted the wires to be hidden so I purchased the necessary in wall power kit. The fireplace is on an external wall. Is this a problem?

• A:Answer In wall kit will only hide the wires if you have a wall below the tv. As the wires are fed between the 2x4’s in the wall. I don’t know how would hide them above a fire place
