A:AnswerIt depends on how you like to see your shows/movies/games. If you are looking for a brighter more vivid look then no, the calibration is not for you. But if you want more of a natural look, soft tones, deeper black, brighter white and more of a real life look. Then yes the calibration does make a big difference.
A:AnswerI was told that the TV needs to have a certain number of hours of use before the calibration can be done. We waited about 3 months before we had the TV calibrated.

A:AnswerSure, if you don't like the results after they come calibrate it. It's your TV so you can certainly reset it to what you previously had. However, you wouldn't receive a refund for the service.

A:AnswerIn reading the description of the service you will see that they only calibrate two sources, normally this would be SDR and HDR. Adding a third such DV doesn't seem possible. They also provide daytime and night settings for each. See below from the webpage. I would just call them instead of waiting for someone to answer an online posted question.

Features
Before we begin
When we arrive at your home, we'll discuss the scope of work to ensure that services purchased meet your needs and expectations. If they don't, we'll recommend solutions.
Maximizing the picture quality of your TV
We'll perform a pre-calibration reading of your current settings, then calibrate your TV to ISF standards for the best picture quality your TV is capable of displaying.
Matching picture quality to external devices
We'll create dedicated settings for up to 2 inputs to account for the nuances of external devices. A “Day Mode” and a “Night Mode” will also be created for day and night use.
Documenting your settings
We'll take a second reading of your settings so we can provide an assessment of your TV's calibrated settings and precalibrated settings. This assessment will be e-mailed to you.
*This service does not include setup of audio or video components, physical adjustments to your devices, or remote control programming. Additional charges may be required for land travel beyond installation coverage areas.

A:AnswerThe total service is $200 per year. If you have no other technical issues that need addressing such as a sound system, home automation, computer etc. then I would not bother since if all you want is TV calibration then the $50 for calibration plus the $200 for the yearly tech membership saves you nothing.

A:AnswerHi there. Thank you for your great question! With something like this, there's a lot of variables. If this is happening with multiple channels on your cable, whether recorded or live, and maybe something like Netflix, then that shows that across multiple types of media, the TV isn't keeping up. So in a case like this, I would recommend getting a new TV. So, to get started, please try to stream something through Youtube, Netflix, etc. If it's still having issues, let's look into a replacement. Otherwise, maybe we can send an agent out there to troubleshoot. Please let us know what you find out and we'll be here to help!
A:AnswerHi James. Thanks for your question! This is an older TV so we may not be able to. But we'd like to learn more about the model and what you're looking to do. To get started, please call us at (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778 to provide us with more information so we can best take care of you.
A:AnswerHi Shelby. Thanks for your question! I'm sorry to hear about what happened. If you just bought the TV and it was broken upon unpacking, we'll swap this out for you! Please get in contact with your local Best Buy whether you bought it in store or online. You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
A:AnswerHi Will. Thanks for reaching out about this. I'm sorry that your Sharp is having some issues. I'd recommend trying one thing first. Unplug the TV from power for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Wait a minute or so and then try turning it on. This should be able to fix most software issues if that's the problem. If it doesn't, it's more than likely a hardware issue and we can absolutely come out there to diagnose it. To get started, you can either reach out to your local Best Buy store or contact us at (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778.
A:AnswerHi Jaron. Thanks for reaching out about this. I'm sorry you're running into issues with your Toshiba. We'd be happy to look into this for you. To get started, you can either reach out to your local Best Buy store or contact us at (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778.
A:AnswerHi Gina. Thanks for your great question! I'm sorry to hear about the TV. It's hard to say for the extent of the damage when we're not sure what happened to the internals. It's a possibility to fix it but you may just be better off looking into a replacement. For example, the repair could definitely be $200-$300 but it also could cost the same as the new model from this year. It's a bit of a gamble since we don't know until it's diagnosed. I hope this helps a little bit and sheds some insight. Please let us know what you're thinking and how you'd like to proceed. Thank you!
A:AnswerHi there. Thank you for your great question. It can vary depending on the damage/malfunction. We'd normally come out there for a diagnosis appointment first and then get parts to do the repair. To get started, you can either reach out to your local Best Buy store or contact us at (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778.
A:AnswerShoot to me is equivalent to possible I don’t need possible I need probable because if a tech comes out and he can’t calibrate my TV it’s a waste of my time and my money
