The reason I say don't buy it, because I've had the program a month and have yet been able to download it bestbuy won't help the Geek squad hangs up the phone when this PDF Adobe Acrobat student teacher is mentioned also Acrobat won't recognize the purchase from bestbuy when I talked to bestbuy rep I was told I would be refunded and now bestbuy said sorry we won't be able to refund nor help you.

• A:Answer Yes. You should be able to deactivate your license on the "old" computer and install on the "new" computer. Both computers must be same type of OS. Either Windows or Mac. Can not change from Windows to Mac or vice versa.

• A:Answer Should be able to install copy on both Windows laptop and desktop or Mac laptop and desktop. Cannot have mixed Windows and Mac. I have installed on my Windows desktop and was told by Adobe customer support that I could install on second device if it was Windows. Think that you need to have minumum Windows 8.

• A:Answer There is not a physical CD or usb with installation files, you'll have to download the installation files from Adobe. Depending on the product option you choose, digital download vs retail, the steps to secure a serial number differ, but either way you will have to go through a 3rd party verification service to verify you are a Student or Teacher using what is called a product code, either emailed to you if you purchase digital download or included in the box if retail. You provide that code, verify your eligibility and the 3rd party provider outputs a serial number for MacOS or yet another code that requires another step if on Windows. For windows, you take that second code supply it to a specific Adobe page and their system will finally output a serial number to use during installation.

To register the product and receive your code/key to download the program you must first validate that you are a teacher or student with an educational institution email address. On Adobe’s validation site you identify the institution you work for or attend, put in your email address, provide some information about your role at the educational institution, and Adobe verifies (or not) that you are a teacher or student. Then they email you the product key/code to download the program. If you cannot verify you are a teacher or student I believe there is a number you can call to plead your case.
