Q: QuestionWhat is the purpose of the disc if it load online?

• A:Answer If you purchase the disc, you own the program. If you download it, you do not own it. You have to pay a yearly fee. Just like with Microsoft Office. I would rather own it and not keep forking out fee's for something that may work just fine as it is. I still use Microsoft Office 2007 and love it. But they no longer let me use Outlook on it. It will not connect. They have there ways. Down the road I am sure all software will be that way, it makes them more money.

• A:Answer It's not bulky and has only a slight learning curve. It's far more reasonably priced but produces beautifully edited photos well worthy of printing. It's a beast at eliminating noise, making photos pop, and simultaneously editing multiple photos that have been captured in a similar environment. The settings are straightforward and easily mastered. Personally, I wouldn't even consider the other available packages.

• A:Answer i purchased this software so that I can work on my pics outside of the classroom. My instructor wants us to import RAW files only since we are using digital SLRs. I know you can export JPEGs and TIFF files. Since this is an Adobe Photoshop product, I assume .psd files are also supported. There are some pretty decent you tube vids out there on this software that may help you.

• A:Answer It works with Windows 10 but Nikon users might have a few issues if working in Raw. So Windows 10 will not read or let you preview NEF files, you do however have a few options...... *Right click image, hit open with, search and open file with LR, or PS. No preview on Windows but everything can be seen via LR or PS. *Another option which will allow you to preview files on Windows is using a NEF to DNG converter which you can download from Adobe's website for free. I have tried both ways and prefer opening file using LR or PS. The NEF to DNG converter is more convenient but drastically reduces the resolution of the pictures.

• A:Answer I bought my copy of Lightroom 6 at Best Buy. In the package was a disc that contained the download for both Windows and Mac operating systems. This package was for Lightroom 6 only and was a single purchase and not one of the new rental releases. There is a package that contains both Elements 2018 and Lightroom. I seem to remember that it is a part of the new releases where you do not buy the new programs but rent them by the month. I cannot tell you whether the rental package contains a download for both Windows and Mac operating systems or not.

• A:Answer lightroom6 is just a full software here you can edit your pictures from your memory card but for your question you have to pay for adobe cloud here you can take the picture and edit right on the spot and post on media social but this service its not free,.I had so much trouble with this software because its missing the 24 digit key when you buy the box from the stores ,I had to call adobe to get the 24 digit number and they installed the software for me.bestbuy docent know that the adobelightroom6 is missing the 24 digit number but they sake the box .
