I use them during work for cell phone calls, Microsoft Teams meetings and calls using teams. They work flawlessly. . Best new tech device I’ve purchased. Perfect for my work environment.

Q: QuestionI have poor hearing in both ears. My doctor is scheduling me for bone anchor implant surgery. Would these enable me to hear conversations, tv, pastor at church in the meantime until surgery

• A:Answer Keep in mind these are NOT hearing aids, they are Bluetooth headphones, so you'll only be able to listen to audio from compatible Bluetooth sources. (Phone / compatible computer, etc.) As these work using bone conduction (similar to the bone-anchored implant from what I understand), as long as your inner ear is working properly, then yes, it should allow you to hear compatible audio sources better than regular headphones. Aftershockz does have a wired version also available if you don't have Bluetooth, though that model is several years old and the newer models are much improved in sound quality, comfort, etc.

• A:Answer My set quit charging while still under warranty and I got them replaced through AfterShokz. I went to their website and filled out the warranty information. I didn't have any problems doing it that way.

Q: QuestionWe have one person that has a problem hearing. After pairing these for her to our tv we had no sound thru the tv speakers so others cd not hear the program. Is there anyway to connect these for her while letting others hear thru TV speakers?

• A:Answer This is the reason why you purchase from Best Buy just take it back. Explain to the manager your situation. show them some communication email or text documentation if you have it. I am sure that they will work something out with you if your headset is not destroyed visually.

Q: QuestionI love the concept as those devises that fit inside my ears make my ears hurt. I do a lot of traveling and enjoy tours of museums etc. They provide audio tours with devices that aren't all bluetooth. I guess they will not work with this headset?

• A:Answer The only way to connect to these is via Bluetooth. If the tour device does not have a Bluetooth transmitter built in, you will not be able to use these.

• A:Answer I have this model and my mother has the model with the mic boom. We’ve called each other and swapped headsets to test and I personally can’t notice a difference of one over the other. My mother said that after she bought hers, she wished she would have bought one without the mic boom since it can’t be removed and can get in the way from time to time.
