Loud noises will not work well with these devices. If you turn up the volume on the device and the phone the vibration is quite intense.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have owned these headphones for 2 years and use them while doing everything from office work, and dishes to snow blowing, and weed whipping. They have an EQ (equilization) filter that changes between "earplug EQ" and "open ear EQ" this is done by pressing and holding volume up and volume down. The headphones drastically reduce the bass so when you have ear plugs in the audio isnt distorted. I use them 9-12 hours in a typical day, listening primarily to podcasts. Any ear plugs will work, the supplied ear plugs are nothing special from what I can tell.
