My local Cricket store advised me to purchase a new phone elsewhere as their available in-store phones were higher priced than retail stores like Best buy AND I would be charged an activation fee but if I bought a cricket phone elsewhere & brought it in to them there would be no activation fee. I did have to purchase a Sim card as the Alcatel Pulsemix I bought had a different size Sim and I wanted all my info transferred but was still much less expensive than the inflated price + activation
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, if you buy a phone from somewhere other than a Cricket store you don't pay an upgrade fee.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if you want to keep the number... if not just activate it and ask for a new number then they dont charge a fee
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the only way you would have to pay an upgrade fee is if you went and bought your new phone from a Cricket store and they would charge you $25 upgrade fee. if you buy a Cricket phone from another retailer such as Best Buy it will come with a SIM card and you can go online to do the activation without paying upgrade fee however I would not recommend the pulsemix I have this phone and it sucks I would go with the ZTE zMAX 4
