Use the tool. Push it in straight and FIRMLY... don't be shy...the tray should pop out a short distance. When it does, gently pull it out all the way and lay in your sim and/or your micro SD card. To re-insert the tray, verify the correct position by aligning the tool removal hole, then gently push the filled tray back into the unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue at first. I just pushed harder (like you think it’s going to break) and it popped out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem at first. The manual says you just push the spot and it pops open, but it did not. Then I noticed the little tool included with the phone. I put it in, and nothing, till I pressed it in hard, then the cartridge popped out, and I was able to put in the 32 gb microSD card I bought. Make sure you get the sim card back in too, as when the cart opened for me, the sim popped out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also encountered this problem with my new Lenovo Smart Pad. I was so excited to put all my games on it. My excitement was soon turned into disappointment when I too couldn't get the stupid tray to pop open. We're it not for these articles, and specifically the wording of "push like you mean it" , "don't be afraid " and my personal favorite "push it until you think it's going to break " I would very likely not figured it out and had to wait until I found a live person later today to get up and going. No one wants to wait to play with their new toys, am a right? Thank you to everyone who takes the time to pass on some of their tips and hard won knowledge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a small tool that comes with the phone. The small took has a point on it which fits into the hole presented on the card slot. Push the pin shaped tool into that hole and , the SD slot pops open.
