A:AnswerDell does not recommend replacing the case with a different one. Each component in the system is installed after multiple level of quality checks. For any assistance with any technical issues, please reach out to the Dell technical support team.
A:AnswerYou can replace the hdd easily without much hassle. There are also two open bays for additional hdd/ssd drives (though you'll need to buy a sata cable to connect it to the mobo, this case only has the power cables for additional storage.)
There's also an open nvme slot that's easily accessible for that type of ssd if you don't want to fuss with cables.
A:AnswerI went with the Alienware - AW2720HF 27" IPS LED FHD FreeSync and G-SYNC Compatible Monitor (DisplayPort, HDMI, USB) - Black
Model:GY2XKSKU:6375328. Kept it easy and stayed with the same brand. Works GREAT!!!
A:AnswerThe cooling fans in the system are adequate to keep the temperature under control. The operating temperature ranges from 10°C to 35°C. Liquid cooling is not required for the system.
A:AnswerWe suggest you to not do any third party or non-Dell aftermarket upgrade, as that can void the system’s warranty. We suggest you to contact the Dell Technical support team regarding this query.
A:AnswerOf course it is but it's really not needed. Unless the hum of the fan gets your pantaloons in a bunch. The current setup of this machine and the fan cooling is thoughly tested before its ever brought to market (especially from a large producer like dell/alienware). There is no "viewing" window to see the tube or anything like that and the current setup keeps the chips well within spec that intel recommends even after 6 hours on max settings of AAA gaming titles.
If you check out the alienware forums you can get the exact part number and add it later if you really wanted too but as the machine stands its more then fine. It around $300 ($200 used).
A:AnswerYes, you can have the processor upgraded on the system. However, we suggest you to not do any third party or non-Dell aftermarket upgrade, as that can void the system’s warranty. We suggest you contact the Dell Technical support team regarding this query.
