QuestionI heard that there is 2 types of Alienware 25 monitor, one that is for AMD card and the other is for Nividia, so if I have a PC that uses Nividia card can I use the monitor that is for AMD card on my PC that uses Nividia card? Or it does not matter?

- Answer You cannot because all consoles are capped at 60FPS. I also use it for PlayStation and it only outputs 60hz.

QuestionI’m in a dilemma here. I cannot decide which to get, monitor or tv. I have ps4 pro which Ive been playing COD on my 15yr old 1080p lcd. Who knows whats the response & refresh rate is. But I also want to watch cable tv(European soccer) on it too. TN is out

- Answer PS4 Pro doesn't exceed 60Hz. You should only buy this monitor if it's for competitive gaming. It definitely will not make you happy if you want to watch TV on it or play PS4 Pro on it. I would get LG OLED TV for your case.

QuestionI have asus tuf gaming laptop 1050ti. My laptop only has a hdmi 1.4 if i use this monitor will i be able to play it around 144hz ? Cause my laptop screen is only 60hz .

- Answer No, per page 13 of the product manual the HDMI port can only do 1920x1080 at 60Hz. You need to use the DisplayPort input to go to 144Hz and up to 240Hz.

- Answer I use it with a 1080 Ti 11g and it works perfectly fine. it all depends on what games you play. Now a days its kinda tough to hash out 240 fps unless you drop your video settings down. Most games like Counter Strike will hit 240+ frames with ease since it doesn't take much to get there. I use it to play overwatch and with medium settings I hit around 200 FPS.

QuestionHow is the color of the monitor out of the box? Would I have to make any adjustments? And would I use the Alienware software to fix the colors or use NVIDIA control panel? and I currently have a IPS LED monitor by hp 27e would I notice a big difference?

- Answer The color of this monitor is extremely crisp and clean! I just did plug and play, and everything was perfect, I have it paired with an EVGA GTX 1080, and the NVIDIA control panel can control everything you need for the monitor, from custom refresh rate, to custom or preset color of the monitor. The lights on the back are controlled by a specific Alienware software (another software, fun right?) And I had a 27" AOC 2560x1440 144hz 1ms FREESYNC monitor and the difference is AMAZING. I use the AOC as my secondary now for webpages, discord, etc. Getting the Alienware will be the best decision you make for your setup!

- Answer Usually, it's the PC or console that you are using that has to support VR. This is just a really good monitor, but can't do anything without a PC or console to drive it.

QuestionCan you mount this moniter and a triple moniter stand. For ex. I have a triple moniter setup on a arm stand the holds all three moniters on it and im looking to upgrade one of them with this for better gaming quality. Could i mount it to the arm stand?
