I had a similar issue with the previous gen M16. I uninstalled the touchpad drivers, rebooted, and let it auto-reinstall them. It worked from that point on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1. Check Touchpad Settings: Sometimes the touchpad might be disabled due to a setting in the Windows control panel. Go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad (or search for "touchpad settings" in the start menu). Make sure that the touchpad is enabled. You may also find additional settings for sensitivity or gestures that could help. 2. Update or Reinstall Touchpad Drivers: Outdated drivers can cause the touchpad to behave erratically. Even if updates are installed, the driver could still be corrupted. Go to Device Manager > Mice and other pointing devices. Right-click on your Touchpad driver and select Update driver. Choose the option to search for updated drivers. If that doesn’t work, try uninstalling the driver and then restarting the system to allow Windows to reinstall the correct driver automatically. Alternatively, you can visit the Dell support page for your model and manually download the latest touchpad drivers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you might be accidently turning it off.... Touch pads have a on off switch in the top corner of the pad. It should be marked. It might look like a dot. Double tap it to turn on and off.
