“Do you have to have a monthly subscription to get all 6 readings on the AliveCor - KardiaMobile 6L? Like if I just have my iPhone have the app for kardiamobile installed on my iPhone and the AliveCor - KardiaMobile 6L. Would that be all I need to get all?”

Note to users of Apple Watch that does EKG. This Kardia device does not do anything different from your Apple Watch unless you buy the monthly or annual subscription. Without the subscription, this device only tells you if you have atrial fibrillation (your Watch already does that), whether you have bradycardia (slow heart beat; you can easily do this just by measuring your heart rate which your Watch already does), and whether you have tachycardia (fast heart beat; same thing — your Watch measures heart rate already). With the subscription, you get the following which your Watch does not detect: sinus rhythm with PVCs, SVE, and Wide QRS. I intended to purchase device to get frequent readings of whether I have any of these 3 other issues (the ones requiring a subscription) but I don’t want to pay a subscription. The device is expensive enough. Dumping this device until no subscription is needed for the full readings.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, you do not have to sign up for the Monthly Subscription to ger perfect Readings on your AliveCor ~ KardiaMobile 6L. I thought that was necessary, but I called AliveCor and asked. Was happy to learn that wasn’t necessary ~ and I am using the 6L version, with no subscription (or any other extra cost), getting great results. I sent a Test Run to my Doctor’s office to be sure it was fully recorded and Nurse responded that it was perfect. Was quite relieved to know I didn’t need the extra expense of a Subscription.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The readout depicts an EKG very similar to the EKG that is done in the office, except its 6 leads rather that a 12 lead EKG. Save it as a PDF, then email to your physician or show it at the next appointment. Subscription is not needed.
