The 6.5 will fit up there with no issue. You can't use the after market grills without modifying your oem soundbar "grills". Depending on your system, you may have a total of 4 speakers up there. This is how they are equipped with the alpine factory upgrade. Two 6.5 mid bass drivers and two 4 in for the highs (not exactly tweeters). Point is that these little tweets are going to need a lot of glue if you mount them up top. Also consider where you would put the crossover of one is included.... When I upgraded my entire alpine factory system in my 16 jku, I put a component Seton the dash and a coax set in the bar. Now that spring is here and my top is down I'm switching my rollbar coaxials for a marine rated set. Soley because of exposure.... Wave
