• A:Answer Not hooking up the water just means that the water dispenser and the ice maker wouldn’t work. If you are willing to make ice the old fashioned way with ice trays, go ahead and don’t hook up the water.

• A:Answer It is on rollers and does move. I do not believe it locks. Just not sure. The water filter is accessible at the bottom of the freezer when you open the door. Much easier to get to.
