• Margo, this Refrigerator does dispense chilled water and does have a water filter. We recommend changing the water filter every 6 months.

• Hey Margo, The water is basically room temp, it is not chilled. There is a filter as part of the fridge for the water dispenser and ice maker. There is an indicator light to let you know when to change the filter, which is about 6 months. Best, Al
