- Answer HI Hogan, the ABB2224BRM is assembled in Amana Iowa, at our refrigeration plant. The unit was designed and engineered in the US and most of the components are made here. But, some components are made for us elsewhere, and they must meet our design and quality specifications. While today's world is getting smaller and smaller, we still do our best to keep American Manufacturing going strong!

- Answer Hi JustAskIn,To ensure proper ventilation for your refrigerator, allow for 1⁄2"(1.25 cm) of space on each side and at the top. Allow for 1" (2.54 cm) of space behind the refrigerator. If your refrigerator has an ice maker, allow extra space at the back for the water line connections. When installing your refrigerator next to a fixed wall, leave 2¹⁄2" (6.3 cm) minimum on the hinge side (some models require more) to allow for the door to swing open.Yes,there are separate temperature controls available for freezer and refrigerator portion.Please refer to the below link for User Guide for additional information.Hope this helps. https://bit.ly/3dhT0rL

QuestionQ: Does the REFRIGERATOR door of Amana ABB2224BRW close by itself when opened up?

- Answer Hi Mary, during installation you can use the leveling legs to slightly tilt the unit back and get a small gravity assist on closing, but there is not mechanism that closes the door for you.
