I understand what you are asking and I have this exact washer. The washer will fill up with deep water for both the wash and rinse/rinses when you choose the deep water fill. The buttons and settings on this washer are different than any other machine I've ever owned, yet it's one of the best washing machines I've had. If you want the water to only auto sense on the rinse cycle/cycles you can turn knob to rinse/spin and hold down the button that starts the machine for at least 6 seconds so it will reset itself. If the wash cycle has not drained yet it will after you hold that button down. Then make sure your water level setting is set to auto sense when the tub has drained. After it all drains you press the start button and it will fill auto sensing the load amount which for that small amount wouldn't be much. That will agitate around for a while after it fills up then it'll spin out like a regular last rinse cycle or quick cycle if you want to call it that. Hope this helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.vice, we do not recommend washing one article of clothing. The sensor will detect the size load to put the adequate of water when using deep water wash cycle. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Amana appliances!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Why would you want deep water for 1 pair of jeans? The guides on lid are for full loads. Use the auto sensing and normal cycle.
