Where does the liquid fabric softner go null

Hi Steph, the fabric softener goes into the agitator. This convenient fabric softener dispenser connects to the agitator and saves you from manually adding fabric softener during the rinse cycle.

Unscrew the cap at the top of the agitator and pour in then replace cap.

it goes right into the top of the agitator
