QuestionSo for the fabric softener on a previous? It says pull up the round circle and put the fabric softener in there but there’s a bolt in there on the bottom if you put fabric softener in there will it harm it.

- Answer It has not hurt mine.....they made it for that so it shouldn't. I use it every cycle.

QuestionI read the washer fills water to abt 5 holes from the top,it has done this every time until today10/8. it didnt sound right I opened the lid and the clothes were not covered at all with water as well as the agitator. repair time already, its a month old?

- Answer Hello maog, the dimensions per the specification section for the washer NTW4516FW are Depth 27", Height 42", and Width 27 1/2. For the electric matching dryer they are NED4655EW Depth 27 3/4", Height 44", and Width 29". For the gas matching dryer NGD4655EW they are Depth 28 1/4", Height 44", and Width 29". QuestionI am new to an HE washer and I am used to a rinse cycle filling the tub with water. When on the water sensing mode I hear very little water, not visible in the tub, being used on the rinse cycle. Is this normal for my washer ? Thanks !!

- Answer Oh I did that by accident. I pushed the start button twice. Just cancel and then hit start button only 1 time. It will then start!

- Answer Thanks Zorro and Amana Team, I did go to Best Buy, showed them the photos, and they agreed to swap out the damaged machine for another one. Fingers crossed the next one is in better shape. Am amazed that something like that could get by Amana/Whirlpool Quality Control (assuming there is one or that they inspect new units).

- Answer I think it runs hot, but not sure because my hot water heater is an on demand heater and it takes a while to heat. Clothes seem clean coming out.
