Hi Jewel, we would recommend you to use the leveling legs. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Amana appliances!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine didn't even come with the legs. It was an openbox floor model. So far i haven't had any problem with mine. I did put a thin layer of Styrofoam under the front to give it a very slight tilt to the back & absorb any possible vibration. All seems to work fine. The dryer is very quiet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Without the leveling legs the dryer would not be leveled and does effect the performance
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My answer would be , yes it is very important to put the legs on. Im speaking from my own experience. Thank God i was not touching the dryer when our water had been leaking from the washing machine. As i pushed the dryer off of the wall to get to the back of the washer it had touched washer which was still plugged in the wall. They both welded each other together because the dryer didnt have a ground. The legs on the dryer are the ground fir the dryer. Becareful with appliances, some people just dont know. I didn't know that dryers legs are the ground for the dryer.
