Q: QuestionIs this unit self-evaporating?

• A:Answer Hi! Thank you for your question. This air conditioner has an internal tank to hold accumulated water from the condenser. Normally, this water is evaporated and exhausted to the outside. However, in periods of high humidity, the internal tank may become full. If this happens, “FL” will appear on the display, a tone will sound, and the air conditioner will turn off until the internal tank is emptied. Hope this helps! :) -Customer Service Team

• A:Answer While some water vapor is vented out with the exhaust. Condensation formed while using the dehumidifying mode is accumulated in the internal tank & can be manually drained from the bottom of the unit.

• A:Answer For the cooling mode to function efficiently in a space, the warm exhaust air needs to be vented out a window or into a larger space. Please note venting into another room in not advised as it will increase temperatures of this other space.

• A:Answer This model has a 53" LCDI power cord with 3-prong grounded plug. It should be plugged directly into a properly rated outlet. Use of extension cords, adapters, or power strips will diminish functionality. This will put additional stress on the unit as it tries to perform at its intended abilities.
