A:AnswerTimmy, there is no memory. This is a portal to the internet that allows you to connect multiple devices. The Amazon Alexa app is where setting and preferences are stored. Think of everything you type on a keyboard - now you speak it
A:AnswerNew update allows phone calls... but both party's have to have an echo device and Amazon account.
Echo will go though ur contacts to find those persons who have an echo device.
A:AnswerAll of the Amazon Echo products do update wirelessly. I don't know if the updates require large data transfers or not... but I do know they update with no prompting. From my understanding, this applies to ALL Products that use the Alexa Program which is a cloud based knowledge base.
A:AnswerI haven't noticed any difference in my battery usage, so far. I got my Echo maybe three weeks ago and I am still trying to figure out how to use my husband's Amazon Prime Music on it! Having no luck playing iTunes. I can use Pandora, but it does not go through my phone App for Pandora - it goes through my Alexa App.
A:AnswerWell no she is not that smart, you have to download things called skills to enable features like that. You may get lucky with some skills? Anything you basically see that is cool is a skill and it gets complicated
A:AnswerThe nice thing about the echo versus the Google home is that you can connect to any Bluetooth device. Will your TracFone allow you to access apps in the Google play store? You may need the Alexa app.
A:AnswerMichael, i'm not sure how many decibels the speaker reaches for the Amazon Echo but I can assure you that it's loud...very loud. I do have the Amazon Echo which is the largest one and to me the loudest but my sister has the Amazon Tap and Amazon Dot and she loves both of them. Of course the Amazon Dot is not as loud as the other two but it's still an amazing sound considering such a small device. Good luck with your choice!
A:AnswerProbably just not receiving wireless signals properly. You can disable certain channels for wirlesss networking in your routers settings, google which channels the smart plug you are using accesses and disable your router from using those channels in the settings page. This should help!
