The Amazon Echo (4th Gen) cannot directly play audio from your LG TV. However, you can connect the Echo to your TV via Bluetooth and use it as a speaker. You will need to pair the Echo with the TV through Bluetooth settings.

You would have to make your TV discoverable via its Bluetooth settings and then simply say "Alexa, Connect." Then follow the prompts from Alexa. Your TV needs to have compatible Bluetooth support and not require you to input a PIN to connect it. Connecting an Echo to a TV using Bluetooth may result in latency issues with audio not matching video so if that happens, you may be better suited connecting it to a Fire Stick or Fire TV device as that connection is through Wi-Fi and can have better results. I hope this answers your question and that you have a phenomenal day!
