How to change the sound of the timer Alexia dot has? null

You cannot change the timer sound. :( You can only change the timer volume right now. Not sure why this isn't already a thing... but it is not. What I did was I asked Alexa to change the timer, she gave me instructions. I then went to my ap and sent "more feedback" - maybe if enough folks ask for this update we will get it.

The Timer Sound and Alarm sound are two different settings. Be sure not to miss Step 4 - To change the Timer Sound: Open the Alexa App Tap "More" on the bottom right Tap "Alarms & Timers" Tap to switch to "Timers" (top right tab) Tap "Settings" (bottom center) Choose the Echo device (Echo Dot, Echo Show etc.) to modify Tap "Default Timer Tone" to choose from a list Tap "Save"

You can change the TimerTone on your devices … i just did it.. Go into your ALEXA app on your phone .. and then see picture … Worked for me .. so happy to get rid of this annoying Timer Tone Good Luck

Either ask Alexa to reduce volume, or decrease volume on top of the Dot.

down alexia app on phone,tab etc. Then go to settings..

The best way to do it is in the Alexa app. There are even funny 'celebrity' sounds to choose from.

Go into the Alexa app, under settings, and find your device name. Select your device and then under sounds, there are options for the different alarms, etc.
