Yes. I have four, and I don't want mine synced so someone in the office can use that dot while someone in the living room can ask different questions or whatever. But you can sync up all of your dots. Go to your Alexa app and access settings. And if you get stuck (the app isn't the best), ask one of your dots what to do. Worst case? Contact Amazon Alexa tech support.

You can set up multiple groupings of dots. So this is a robust capability with a lot of settings that can be leveraged to get the results you want.

It would lose total connectivity occasionally for the first few months, then started losing total connectivity several times per week and has to be reset nearly everyday. If I was able to return or exchange for a 3rd Gen, I would. But that window closed by the time the issue worsened.

Open Devices. 3. Select the plus sign, and then select Combine Speakers. 4. Select Multi-room music. 5. Follow the instructions in the app to complete the setup. A Multi-Room Music group named "Everywhere" is automatically created when you have more than one device. To edit this group, follow step 1 above, scroll down to Speaker Groups, and select Everywhere. If you want to pair multiple speakers that are in the same room, you can do that as well. You can have stereo sound and improved music playback in the left and right channels, pair two supported Echo devices. To set up an audio system, follow these steps: 1. Open the Alexa app. 2. Select Devices. 3. Select Plus. 4. Select Set Up Audio System. 5. Select Stereo Pair, and then follow the on-screen instructions. Have a great day!
