Alexa can be set up to call an Emergency Contact if someone in the house says "Alexa, call for help" but is not designed to call emergency numbers like 911. To set up an emergency contact: Open the Alexa app. Select Communicate. Select the contacts icon. Select the menu icon, then select Emergency Contact. Follow the on-screen instructions. Note that changing the number on your phone won't automatically sync it with Alexa, you'll have to go back in and update it manually. Once that is set up, Alexa will try to call them whenever you use one of the following phrases: "Call for help." "Call my emergency contact." "Call my contact for help." "Call my help contact."
