You have to enable certain game apps of your choice from the Amazon account which are free in order to play certain games but you can also ask Alexa what games he/she can play and it will let you know what it can and cannot do. Hope that helps.

I have done trivia games (sports, pop culture, history), along with playing music, inquiring about the weather, and hours for nearby stores. My son did get it to do a pointless game of rock, paper, scissors that he unsurprisingly lost.
