• Hello, Echo speakers require a constant power source as well as a WiFi connection.

• It certainly isn’t possible to do so as it comes in the box. I am unaware of any accessory that would act as a battery for it. This is primarily designed for use with your home wi-fi and secondarily as a speaker. For what you are wanting it sounds like you need a pure speaker.
