Look up why it’s giving you orange ring I think it needs to reconnect with your phone or something I can’t remember exactly why but it something that is simple and needs reset

To be sure your device has announcements turned on follow these steps. 1: In your alexa app, choose devices and choose the device in question. 2: Scroll down and click on "communications" 3: Make sure communications is enabled. 4: Tap announcements, and choose enabled.
