A:Answer It is very easy to set up. The person you’re giving it to needs 2 things- an Amazon account username and password ( if they don’t have one you can just set one up) and a cell number( even if they don’t use one, you could just buy one of those cheap pay as you go). You also need the WiFi password of where they are using it. I bought one for my dad and set it up completely on the echo itself, and on my phone. On my phone, I downloaded the Alexa app, logged in with my dads Amazon username and password, added my cell number and all my brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews phone number into it as contacts. On the Echo, you just turn it on and follow the prompts to set up. All you need is that WiFi password. Once that’s done, anyone who downloads the Alexa app on their phone with their Amazon login info, and adds her as a contact can call her on it. You’ll see her on your phone, and it will ring her echo and all she has to do is answer it. Also, she can then just go to the contacts on the Echo that will be there since you entered them all through the Alexa app and hit their name and it will cal them. It’s very easy for them to use!!!!
