  • QuestionWhat is the difference between the Amazon fire HD10 kids 3+ and the Amazon HD 10 kids 7+ pro?

    Asked by Dave.

    • Answer Hello! The new Kids Pro Fire Tablet is designed specifically for kids ages 6–12. The tablet will come with 1 year of Amazon Kids+, parental controls, a slim protective case, and a 2-year worry-free guarantee, just like the Kids tablets. In addition to the Kids+ content, the Kids Pro tablets include access to a digital store. With this, kids can request to download or purchase apps, while parents can approve purchases and downloads. The tablet also comes with a built in web browser. The web browser comes with built-in controls designed to help filter out inappropriate sites and let parents add or block specific websites at any time. I hope that helps explain a few differences between the new Kids Pro and Kids tablest! Have a great day!

  • QuestionHow do I get a specific APK app from an old kindle to this one? (I don't have a kids version, just couldn't find the non-kids version. The other kindle is a fire HD 8, 8th generation)

    Asked by Ocean.

    • Answer Hello Ocean! The easiest way to do this would be to use a microSD card. You will need to also enable apps to be downloadable from unknown sources. To do this you would go to Settings>Security & Privacy>Apps from Unknown Sources>Silk Browser>Allowed. Once that is done then you would be sure your microSD card is in your old tablet and go to Files>Tap and Hold the APK File for the App>Tap Menu (the 3 dots in the top right corner usually)>Move To or Copy To>Select your microSD card. Then when you take that card out of the old tablet and put into the new tablet, you should be able to go to Files and select that APK file and redownload the app. I hope this helps answer your question and that you have a terrific day!

  • QuestionI am looking for a tablet for my brother who had a traumatic brain injury. He 60 years old and we want to download adult brain games, but not have him able to access internet. Would this work for him?

    Asked by Laura.

    • Answer Hi Laura! Hello! With parental controls, you can help keep your child from accessing certain things, avoiding accidental purchases, and set time limits with on-device controls. Here are the things the parental controls let you restrict access to: -Web browsing -Email, Contacts, and Calendar apps -Purchasing from the Amazon Store or Amazon Shop app -Playing titles from Prime Video -Specific content types or titles (for example, books or apps) -Wireless connectivity -The camera -Location-based Services You can also use the daily curfew option to schedule when your child can use the device. Enabling Parental Controls does not remove Mature or Adult-rated content from the device. You may encounter such content in Apps and Games, Music, and Books, or in Amazon store search results. To restrict the content available on the device, you can: -Create an Amazon Kids child profile and select which apps and content are available to that profile. -Block access to content on the device (for example, "Apps and Games," "Books," and "Music") by going to Amazon Content and Apps menu under Parental Controls and selecting the button next to each category to say Blocked. I hope that information helps! Have a great day!

  • QuestionCan you get disney plus, netflix or prime videos?

    Asked by Bwil65.

    • Answer Hello Bwil65! You can add or enable content to the kid's profile on this tablet through the Parent Dashboard or through the Amazon Kids app on a parent profile. Disney+ and Netflix are available through this method. Prime Videos doesn't have an app that you would download or allow to a kid's profile, rather you would simply select which content to share with them and numerous different kid-friendly content is already enabled from Prime. I hope this answers your question and that you have an awesome day!
