Hi Anna! All the Fire tablets sold in stores will feature lock screen ads, however they can be disabled with a one time fee directly from the linked Amazon account. To disable the lock screen ads, log into your Amazon account on the website. Next: Go to Manage Your Devices. Select Devices, and then select your Kindle e-reader or Fire tablet. Under Special Offers, click Remove offers. A pop-up window then displays the price to remove ads. Select End Offers and Pay the Fee to proceed. Personally I don't really mind the ads, as they only show up when the tablet is locked but the screen is on. I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!
