Hi Chris! Sorry you're having this problem. Here are the steps to perform a hard reset. Please keep in mind that this will erase the content on your tablet: Press and hold the Volume Up + Power buttons until you see the Amazon logo on the screen. Press the Volume Up and Down keys to navigate through the options in the system recovery menu as the touch screen will not be active. Select Wipe Data / Factory Reset and press the Power button.
