- Answer Hello, Mar! You do not need an Amazon Prime account to use the Fire TV Cube. You would have access to the free features that Fire TV offers. In addition to that, you can download and log into many different apps, such as Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ and log into your accounts to start streaming. - Answer IMHO it would more depend on where the cable is coming from. If your using dial up or the latest giga network. Why would you limit it if it is the latter

- Answer Comes with an sensor you can run. So you don’t need a direct line to the box. The sensor is wired but it a long wire. I have the cube in the entertainment center and sensor on too of TV. Hope this helps

- Answer there is no sound that comes out of the fire cube but u can hook up a Bluetooth device for audio it basically turns your TV into a smart TV just by connecting it to your tv

- Answer I replaced my firestick with a cube and when you hook it up, it asks if you want to restore settings form a previous device. My problem was I had had a couple versions of the firestick and I accidentally picked the older one, so I had to re add some apps. If you only have one previous device you shouldn't have that issue.
