Yes and no. This adds regular over the air (antenna) TV and recording (DVR) of that TV only to your fire TV. So you can record all of your favorite shows while you are away - so long as they are from antenna TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you can only record it’s channels that the recast receives and then rebroadcast to fire stick and one more device with the fire tv app on it.you can set recordings in advance for 2 weeks or record entire series.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it won’t record things from the fire stick. It plays back TO the fire stick. When you open the fireTV and you get the Amazon home page you will have a new category that says DVR. When you go to it you can watch live tv or things you have recorded. YES. You can record when you are not home. Once you set up the recording or series it will tape whether the TV is on or not. Only the actual Recast box must have power and be turned on. It just stays powered on all the time. It has a tiny light on the front of it and a little bit of internal fan noise, but not bad at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. They just did redesigned their homepage and now if a show is on a streaming service, you can't record it on the box. No newscasts, not even Green Acres. I truly regret not going with TiVO now.
