With this fire stick can you get local channels? null

Only if you have a streaming service like Cox, DirecTV, Xfinity, etc. You can get local channels through those apps, but not through the Fire Stick itself. That applies to all versions.

I can by using my Direct TV signal. Don’t know if you can unless you stream it from some provider. I don’t know if it has OTA capabilities
