• I have my fire stick attached to a spllitter, so dont see why your configuration wouldnt work. mine goes into this device: PORTTA PET0301S 3x1 Port HDMI Switch/Switcher 1080P Supports then that device is connected to my TV with an HDMI cable

• It comes with an HDMI extender cable, about 4 inches long. Should enable you to install it in tight quarters.

• the device comes with a 6 inch extension but if you need more room then you would have to find a female-female hdmi connector basically just a coupler so yes you can do it.

• The fire tv stick comes with an hdmi extender so could plug it into those hard to reach areas the extender is also very flexible
