I have tried to hook it up to my computer but was not successful at it

Please try again later.I am not positive but since there are tv tuners you can get to plug into monitors I would think it should work if you have multi ports to connect to. I would also guess you may use the computer monitor for your tv so again if you have the ports I would think you should be able. I had once hooked up my sat tv to my computer monitor that also had pip and was able to have my tv on a small screen while I was working on other computer projects, then I had a second monitor and when I didnt need to use both I could select the other port on my other monitor and use it for full screen TV. Not to go into to much but besides having the controller you can watch most of the same things directly from your computer as you can on the firestick but to each their own I guess. :) good luck.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can install your Amazon Fire TV Stick and computer to an HDTV through the HDMI port. Most of them will also have a VGA for older computers. You can then switch with the input button on your HDTV remote.
